The Couper’s Costumes

If the Couper family is known for anything, it is our holiday spirit! From extravagant Christmas-colored lights in December to inflatable red-white-and-blue men in July to our haunted Halloween lawn.

Naturally, one family costume is just not enough — that’s why we had to have TWO this year!

1. Monsters Inc

Sully, Mike, Celia, and Boo are all ready to scare YOU! These monsters terrorized the town of Mountainside for a series of friend’s Halloween parties and town events. Don’t worry — Sully doesn’t bite (even when he really wants to).

This was a definite family costume success, made sweeter by a mix of candy and the fact that this is Altas’s first Halloween! He played the part of Mike wonderfully, and had all the attitude to match.

If you saw this freaky bunch lurking around, don’t be shy! And remember, keep your bedroom closet doors unlocked (for no reason in particular).

2. Jurassic Park

Talk about putting his skills to work! Eric built the electronically controlled cage that kept us all safe from the infamously dangerous dinosaur, Atlasauraus. In addition to eating humans and other small prey, Atlasauraus also enjoys Reeses Pieces.

This one was a huge hit, earning us attention around the neighborhood and on social media! If you didn’t see this on IG, make sure to give us a follow at @mchomeimprovements!
